My Fiancé Called off the Wedding after His Mother Forbade Him to Marry Me – I Showed Their Family Not to Mess with Me

Emma was devastated when her fiancé, Jared, called off their wedding due to his mother’s disapproval. Insulted and humiliated, she resolved to teach them a lesson.

Jared had proposed in a dreamy setting with a candle-lit dinner and whispered, “Emma, this is just the beginning of our forever.” But when he took her to meet his parents, his mother, Mrs. Stewart, was openly hostile. She criticized Emma for not being blonde and mocked her ambition to open an art studio, saying, “Jared needs a wife with equal ambitions, not childish dreams.” Jared remained silent, leaving Emma feeling betrayed.

At dinner, Mrs. Stewart criticized Emma for not eating pork, questioning her ability to fit into their family. Emma, hurt and humiliated, tried to defend herself, but the final blow came when Mrs. Stewart forbade Jared from marrying her. Jared sided with his mother, telling Emma to leave.

Determined not to let them get away with their behavior, Emma returned the next day with a bouquet of daisies and pecan pie, knowing Mrs. Stewart was allergic. She pretended to apologize but recorded the encounter. As Mrs. Stewart spewed more insults, Emma revealed the recording, saying, “Let’s see how traditional you look on the news!”
