‘Why Did You Give Birth to Me?’ Boy Is Ashamed of Old Mom Until He Learns He’s Not Her Son — Story of the Day

A teenage boy shunned his mom for being old, once asking why she gave birth to him. After she ended up in the hospital following a fight, he discovered she didn’t actually give birth to him.

One Saturday, thirteen-year-old Tim was hanging out with friends at a local cafe. Gloria, his mom, wanted to spend time with him and invited him to watch a superhero movie. Tim ignored her calls, so she went to the cafe. His friends teased him, calling her his grandmother.

Angry, Tim scolded Gloria, saying she embarrassed him. Hurt, Gloria went home and cooked his favorite meal. When Tim returned late, he ignored her. She asked why he was avoiding her, and he cruelly questioned why she gave birth to him.

Tim ran out, and Gloria fainted while chasing him. A neighbor revealed the truth: Gloria had adopted Tim and sacrificed everything for his health and happiness. Realizing his mistake, Tim rushed to the hospital, vowing to cherish his mother from then on.
