Waitress Refused to Wait on Our Table Because We’re Old – She Soon Regretted It

Steph and her husband, George, were excited to meet their granddaughter Eden’s boyfriend, Jason, at a cozy restaurant. They arrived early, but their waitress, Jessica, was less than welcoming. Her attitude soured further when she mistakenly brought them iced coffees instead of the drinks they ordered.

As the evening went on, Steph overheard Jessica complaining about serving elderly customers, saying they “just don’t tip well.” Despite this, the couple enjoyed their dinner with Eden and Jason, who made a good impression on them.

Jessica’s attitude changed dramatically when Jason arrived, hoping for a good tip from the well-dressed young man. However, when the bill came, George left a big “0%” in the tip section, saying, “We’re old, and apparently we have a reputation for not tipping well.” Instead, they gave a generous tip to Ryan, the young waiter who had treated them with kindness.

As they left, George reminded everyone, “Respect and kindness are values we should all hold dear.”
