Unruly Child Keeps Spitting in Woman’s Face on Plane – Her Response Sparks Heated Debates

A nurse and her husband boarded a routine flight from Atlanta to Denver, expecting a quiet journey. Instead, they found themselves in the middle of a shocking mid-air incident that spiraled into a viral sensation, igniting fierce debates and leaving fellow passengers stunned.

Shayla Monnier, a nurse and TikTok content creator, and her husband Andrew, were seated when a child in front of them began misbehaving. Despite the parents’ attempts to control the child, the situation escalated when the child spit on Shayla and Andrew multiple times.

Monnier recounted the incident on TikTok on June 17, 2024, describing how the child continued to spit despite her efforts to block it. The child’s parents struggled to manage her behavior, wearing masks themselves while the child did not.

The incident drew mixed reactions online, with some supporting Monnier and her husband, while others criticized their handling of the situation. The flight attendant eventually intervened, providing temporary relief and flight credits to the affected passengers.
