New Homeowners Demanded That I Remove My Garbage From the Garage, a Week Later, They Called Begging Me To Return It

After selling my parents’ house, I was asked by the new owners, the Mitchells, to remove what they called “garbage” from the garage. When I arrived, I found valuable building materials they had mistakenly dismissed as junk. I took the items, planning to sell them for my family’s benefit.

A week later, the Mitchells called, begging me to return the materials, as they were crucial for renovations. I agreed but demanded compensation for my time and effort. After some resistance, they reluctantly paid.

Returning the materials, I couldn’t resist teaching them a lesson about respecting others’ time and effort. The money I earned went toward a family vacation, reminding me that standing up for myself was about more than money—it was about knowing my worth.
