My Son Got Lost in the Woods, When I Found Him, He Said, Dad, There is a Cabin with a Child Crying Inside

Three years ago, after losing my wife, Julia, and daughter, Belle, in a tragic accident, I struggled to face each day, holding onto my son, Ethan, as my reason for living. Photography became my escape, and sometimes Ethan joined me on assignments.

On one such trip, Ethan vanished while playing in a forest. After a frantic search, I found him near an old cabin, where he led me to Grace and her daughter, Lila, living in squalor. Grace, abandoned by her husband, was desperate to care for Lila.

Moved by their situation, I invited them to stay with us. Grace found work as a seamstress, and her presence brought new life to our home. Over time, our bond deepened, and a year later, I proposed to Grace, a promise of renewal. Though Grace and Lila didn’t replace my lost family, they brought new hope, showing me that happiness could still be found.
