Man Constantly Mocks Unemployed Wife for Doing Nothing, Finds a Note after Ambulance Takes Her Away — Story of the Day

An arrogant man constantly mocks his wife for being a terrible homemaker but later regrets his remarks when karma teaches him a lesson.

When Shannon welcomed her daughter, Claire, she thought she could manage both work and home. She did, until she gave birth to twins, Lucas and Justin.

Raising three kids while working was exhausting. Shannon often burnt breakfast, left the iron on, or scorched clothes.

Martin grew impatient and ordered her to quit her job to look after the kids. Shannon hesitated but agreed. Still, Martin’s irritation grew. He blamed her for everything—dirty dishes, toys on the floor, salty food.

One day, Shannon collapsed from exhaustion. Martin called 911 and realized how overworked she was. Reading her to-do list, he felt ashamed.

Martin apologized with flowers and changed his ways. He hired a nanny and helped with chores. He finally understood that being a homemaker is hard work.
