I Spotted My Husband at Lunch Instead of His Business Trip & Decided to Find Out Who He’s Waiting For

Jane was ready for a catch-up lunch with her colleagues. With her husband on a work trip, she could relax. But at the restaurant, she got more than she expected.

All I wanted was grilled calamari, garlic bread, and a good chat. But I got way more than that.

It started innocently. I strolled into our usual spot with my co-workers, ready to complain about our spouses and cases. Blissfully unaware of the whirlwind waiting for me.

We sat at our reserved table, and I looked around. When I looked up, I saw him—my husband, Tom, who was supposed to be on a business trip. There he sat, with coffee and nachos, typing on his phone with a mysterious smile.

Then an unknown man handed Tom an envelope. It was photos of me. The man was a private investigator. Tom wanted to frame me as a cheater to take everything.

But he didn’t know the courtroom was my stage. Tom’s plan backfired, and Karma took over. I walked away stronger, wiser, and free from a toxic marriage. All from a simple lunch date with colleagues.
