I organized my sister-in-law’s wedding, baked the cake, and even paid for the catering—only to find out on the big day that I wasn’t invited

Dahlia pours everything into planning her brother Liam’s wedding, from designing the invitations to baking the cake. But on the big day, she discovers a painful betrayal: she’s not invited. As secrets unravel, Dahlia must decide whether some betrayals deserve forgiveness or revenge.

Dahlia had never been one to hold grudges—until Claire, Liam’s fiancée, excluded her from the wedding despite all her help. She had designed the invitations, coordinated vendors, and even paid for the cake. Dahlia had been excited to make Liam’s favorite, a chocolate-peanut butter cake, but when she arrived on the wedding day, her mom told her she wasn’t on the guest list.

Liam’s mom confronted Claire, who dismissed the issue, claiming Dahlia’s divorce brought “bad energy.” Furious, Liam took the cake and left Claire, realizing she wasn’t the woman he thought she was. Later, he visited Dahlia, apologizing for the mess and thanking her for showing him who Claire really was.

In the end, Liam chose his sister over a toxic relationship. Meanwhile, Claire tried to apologize, but Dahlia wasn’t moved. She had been used and lied to, and as Claire left, Dahlia stood firm—there would be no forgiveness.
