I Came Home to Find My Son’s New Girlfriend Cooking in My Kitchen — I Shockingly Recognized Her

After a challenging job search, Mrs. Rodgers, an experienced chef, landed a new role at a steakhouse. Her spirits were lifted until she encountered Isabel, the manager who had rejected her harshly during a job interview. Isabel, who dismissed Mrs. Rodgers with, “You are way too old and fat to work here,” now appeared at her home as her son Alex’s girlfriend.

Tension flared as Isabel’s behavior grew increasingly disrespectful. She made snide remarks about Mrs. Rodgers’ age and weight and sabotaged her cooking with salt instead of sugar. Isabel even ruined a batch of cookies and served excessively spicy chili, claiming it was an accident.

Mrs. Rodgers decided to teach Isabel a lesson. During a family dinner, she secretly added extra chili to Isabel’s portion. Isabel’s reaction confirmed Mrs. Rodgers’ suspicions. Afterward, Mrs. Rodgers warned Isabel, “Rudeness and spitefulness have consequences.” Isabel’s attitude improved dramatically, and peace was restored in the home.
