Grandma Wins Lottery That Pays Her $10,000 A Month For The Next 30 Years

In Surrey’s Dorking, 70-year-old Doris Stanbridge’s life transformed when she won a life-altering lottery prize: £10,000 per month for 30 years, rekindling her zest for life and her goal to reach 100.

Doris’s journey was extraordinary. Inspired by folklore about money spiders bringing luck, she tested her fate. On her 70th birthday, she received an email from The National Lottery. “Congratulations, you’ve won £10K Thousand a month for 30 years,” it read. Doris was in disbelief and sought confirmation from her husband and son-in-law.

“I logged on to the App, thinking I had won £10, and then saw ‘Congratulations, you’ve won £10K Thousand a month for 30 years,’” Doris recounted with astonishment.

Since winning, Doris and her husband Keith enjoyed treats and a memorable Cornwall holiday with extended family. They plan to renovate their cherished home and take their grandson on his first airplane trip.

Doris’s life-changing moment occurred on August 3 during The National Lottery’s Set For Life draw, where she matched all winning numbers: 2, 11, 17, 30, 38, and the Life Ball 3.
