Daughter-In-Law Forces Elderly Woman

Beatrice Fairman, a kind elderly woman, gladly allowed her only son Matthew and his new wife Rita to move into her spacious home. At first, they lived harmoniously—Beatrice cooked and helped around the house, and Rita seemed like a loving daughter-in-law. But everything changed when Matthew was sent overseas for six months on a work assignment. Left alone with Beatrice, Rita became bitter and hostile. As Matthew’s calls grew infrequent and eventually stopped, worry turned into tension. When they discovered Matthew had vanished after leaving London, Rita spiraled into anger, blaming Beatrice for his disappearance. Her behavior worsened—she started staying out late, brought a new boyfriend home, and eventually forced Beatrice to live in the garage to “make space.”

Just as things seemed hopeless, Matthew suddenly returned—he had been in a serious accident and was recovering in the hospital, unaware that his messages hadn’t gotten through. When he saw what Rita had done, he was furious. He kicked Rita out of the house and apologized to his mother, vowing to make things right. Beatrice was overjoyed—not just to be back in her home, but to have her son alive and safe in her arms once more.
