A conceited passenger deliberately leaned his seat back right in my face—and I quickly retaliated, forcing him to back off in a hurry

At 16, I’m over six feet tall, and flying is always uncomfortable. On a recent flight, a man in front of me reclined his seat too far, crushing my legs. When I politely asked him to move it up, he refused, saying he paid for the seat.

Frustrated, I came up with a plan: I started eating pretzels loudly, intentionally spilling crumbs on his head. After several minutes, he snapped and demanded I stop, but I kept pushing back, pretending to sneeze, sending more crumbs his way. Finally, he raised his seat. My legs were saved, and I felt victorious. My mom was amused, and we laughed it off as we left the plane.
