Sales Agent Flips off Poor Client at Fancy Store – Story of the Day

Wendy’s shift took an unexpected turn when an old man entered the store. Dressed in a tattered coat, he appeared unable to afford their shoes, prompting Wendy to dismiss him politely. Her demeanor changed when he expressed interest in an expensive pair for his granddaughter. Annoyed, Wendy insisted he leave, but the man persisted.

Meanwhile, Wendy’s manager, Mr. Anderson, called her and a colleague, Erica, to the office. He announced a competition for a promotion: the one who made the highest sale would win. Wendy, eager to secure the role, targeted a well-dressed customer, Tony, but her efforts were in vain as he left without buying anything.

Back on the floor, Wendy noticed Erica assisting the old man who ended up buying three pairs. Determined not to lose, Wendy locked Erica in a closet and processed the sale herself. However, the old man, revealed as the brand’s CEO, Mr. Eaton, exposed Wendy’s deceit. He fired her on the spot and promoted Erica, who had genuinely helped him.
