Orphan Girl Has No One to Invite for Father’s Day at School, Sees 50 Dads Lined Up By Her Class — Story of the Day

The teacher announced Father’s Day celebrations at school, causing Minnie to feel left out as an orphan. On the day itself, she reluctantly went to school, expecting nothing. Suddenly, her teacher called her forward.

“Mr. Thompson, I…I’m an orphan. No one ever came to me on a Father’s Day. And no one ever will,” Minnie tearfully confessed.

But Mr. Thompson had a surprise. He pointed outside, where a line of 50 men stood waiting.

“See, Minnie? They all have come for you. They all want to be your dad,” her teacher assured her.

Overwhelmed, Minnie realized she wasn’t alone and had a community of caring adults ready to support her.
