I offered my dad a room—just him—on the condition that he go to therapy. She’s not allowed near my home. Seven months later, he’s trying. We’re rebuilding—slowly. And me? I’m in college, studying graphic design. The house is mine now. Peaceful. Safe. Lesson? The people who hurt you don’t get to define your worth.
