My MIL ‘Accidentally’ Dropped My Daughter’s

Willa’s mother-in-law, Darlene, has always treated her daughter Ava as an outsider, making subtle, cutting remarks. When Nolan surprises Willa and Ava with a trip to the Canary Islands, Darlene’s petty sabotage takes a cruel turn. She deliberately lets Ava’s boarding pass fly out of the car window, preventing them from making the flight.

Instead of reacting angrily, Willa stays calm, deciding to create a different kind of magic with Ava. They have pancakes, explore local adventures, and enjoy each other’s company. Meanwhile, Darlene’s trip goes awry when she slips and injures herself, losing her passport in the process, leaving her stranded in a foreign country for days.

When Willa finally tells Nolan what happened, he promises they’ll make their own trip soon. But karma isn’t finished: Darlene’s vacation turns into a nightmare of missed connections and government paperwork. Nolan, now aware of his mother’s behavior, stands up to Darlene, demanding she apologize before being allowed near Ava again. Darlene leaves, and the family enjoys a newfound peace, free from her interference.
