My Husband, Who Earns Less than Me, Forced Me to Take a Second Job — So I Chose One That’d Teach Him a Lesson

When Lisa’s husband, Tom, starts urging her to get a second job, she becomes suspicious. Finally, fed up with his constant nagging, Lisa agrees. At her new job, Lisa discovers a terrible truth about Tom.

In our home, I earn more money. It hadn’t been an issue before, but Tom recently began pressuring me to take a second job.

“You don’t even leave the house to work, so you can’t be as tired as I am,” Tom said.

“But you own a mechanic shop and take three days off because you have staff,” I argued.

“Let’s drop this,” he replied dismissively.

Weeks later, over dinner, Tom insisted again, “You need a second job.”

“Why me? My job is exhausting,” I retorted.

Tom’s absurd reason? “I’d miss bowling with my friends.”

I got a job at his bowling alley. On my first shift, I learned he had seduced multiple waitresses, one of whom had his child.

Outraged, I confronted Tom, deciding to file for divorce immediately.

What would you have done?
