My Fiancé Proposed with My Father’s Family Ring That Vanished Long Ago — Story of the Day

My fiancé, David, proposed to me by the sea, and I didn’t hesitate to say “YES!” When he slipped the ring onto my finger, my heart began to beat wildly. What made it special was that it was my father’s long-lost family ring.

David and I met at a seaside resort, where the waves gently lapped the shore and the scent of saltwater filled the air. I fell in love with him at first sight. We spent hours walking along the beach and talking about our dreams. As the days passed, our bond grew stronger, and we couldn’t imagine being apart.

Three months later, David suggested a beach picnic. We spread out a blanket, and he unpacked a basket filled with our favorite snacks. As the sun set, David proposed with my father’s family ring. Overwhelmed, I said yes, but my excitement turned to shock when I recognized the ring. It was unmistakably my father’s, and questions flooded my mind. How did David end up with MY father’s ring?!
