My Daughter’s MIL Called Me a Begga

Frank had lived in silence for five years after losing his wife, Linda, and becoming estranged from his daughter, Emily, who blamed him for her mother’s death. Isolated and alone, Frank lived frugally, clinging to hope. When he took a janitor job at a preschool, he bonded with a bright little girl named Sophie, who reminded him of the family he lost.

Sophie invited Frank to her birthday party, and he scraped together his savings to bring a gift. But when he arrived, Sophie’s other grandmother, Marianne, cruelly insulted him and tried to have him removed. As tensions rose, a shocking truth came out: Marianne had intercepted letters between Frank and Emily for years, lying to both of them.
The truth broke through the pain. Emily and Frank reconciled in tears. Sophie—his granddaughter—welcomed him with joy, and the piano he had bought for her was delivered as a symbol of love, healing, and the years they still had to share.
