I Gave My Parents My Salary for 7 Months

Rachel’s life is turned upside down when her parents ask for financial help, claiming her father’s heart condition is draining their savings. Eager to repay them for the love they gave her growing up, Rachel sends most of her salary for months, imagining it eases their struggles. But when a work trip takes her near their home, Rachel surprises them, only to find a stranger, Melissa, on their couch. Rachel feels betrayed, realizing the truth was hidden from her, and her financial sacrifices were for nothing. Her parents admit they were manipulated by Melissa’s threats and guilt, but they are genuinely remorseful. While Rachel struggles with the betrayal, she begins to rebuild her relationship with them, not with blind trust but with honesty. Melissa leaves after demanding more than they could give, and Rachel, though scarred, decides to forgive and protect what’s left of the love they once shared. In the end, Rachel learns that some walls need to fall, and though trust may be broken, love can still heal.
