Homeless Teen Fights to Return Lost Wallet to Old Man, Goes to College the Next Day — Story of the Day

On a cold night, Lisa, a homeless girl, found warmth by a fire with Kevin and Terry. She thought they were new friends, but they used her as a distraction for their robbery. Lisa faced a choice between honesty and a full stomach.

Lisa approached the fire, seeking warmth. “C-can I please come closer?” she asked timidly. Kevin and Terry laughed but welcomed her.

“People like us need to stick together,” Kevin said warmly.

The next morning, Kevin revealed their plan. Lisa was horrified when Kevin produced a wallet full of stolen money.

“You stole from that old man!” she shouted. Despite Kevin’s threats, she grabbed the wallet and ran to return it.

Finding the old man, Lisa apologized and returned the money. The old man and his grandson, Oliver, offered her a chance to turn her life around. Grateful, Lisa accepted.

Months later, Lisa, now a top student, thanked Kevin and Terry, proving that kindness always comes back.
