‘Hey, You’re Fired, Old Man,’ Manager Informs Janitor, Not Knowing He’ll Be Her Boss the Next Day – Story of the Day

After her promotion to general manager, Nia transformed into an aggressive and impatient boss at a fashion retail store. Her behavior went unchecked until she insulted and fired an elderly janitor, Victor.

Nia had recently been promoted and was eager to implement major changes. She demanded strict adherence to new protocols, threatening to cut incentives for any deviations. Her unrealistic goals and harsh responses created a fearful environment.

One day, after firing Maya for a minor mistake, Victor, a 68-year-old janitor, spoke up. Instead of listening, Nia insulted him and fired him too.

The next day, Mr. Gordon, the store owner, visited and learned about Nia’s actions. Shockingly, Victor was revealed to be the store’s co-owner, having saved Mr. Gordon’s life years ago. Mr. Gordon ordered Nia to apologize and reinstated Victor.

Nia, realizing her mistakes, changed her approach, valuing her staff and improving morale. Consequently, the store’s sales soared, and Nia eventually became the CEO. Victor continued working happily as a janitor, loved by all.
