Father and Teen Daughter Tragically Pass Away in Utah Canyon

A tragic accident in Utah has left a community mourning the sudden loss of Richard David Hendrickson, 57, and his 16-year-old daughter, Sally. The fatal incident occurred Saturday afternoon on a state highway in Ogden Canyon, when a mini bulldozer came loose from a tow truck and fell onto the family’s GMC pickup truck.

According to the Utah Department of Public Safety, the bulldozer became detached as the tow truck made a right-hand turn. Richard and Sally, who were traveling in the truck while towing a boat, were both pronounced dead at the scene.Hendrickson was the president and CEO of Lifetime Products, a well-known company specializing in outdoor furniture and recreational goods.
