Alice’s son, Jeremy, had always been happy, but recently, he became distant whenever her new husband, Sam, entered the room. Alice initially dismissed it, but when Jeremy revealed Sam had called him a “problem,” Alice’s concerns deepened.

Alice had been through a painful divorce when her first husband, Daniel, left her for another woman. She rebuilt her life, eventually meeting Sam, who seemed perfect. A private investigator uncovered that Sam had been scamming Alice, planning to frame her at work to gain access to her assets.
