DMV Demands Woman Surrender Her Custom License Plate Because It Sounds ‘Offensive’

New Hampshire’s DMV has required a woman to give up her 15-year-old vanity plate, “PB4WEGO,” due to the word “Pee.”
Owner Wendy Auger, a bartender, claims the phrase is free speech.

Many support her, citing the state motto “Live Free Or Die.” Auger humorously protested that without the plate, she can’t “live free.”
The dispute awaits resolution as the state declines comment due to privacy regulations.
