Airport Janitor Gives His Sandwich to Lost Boy, ‘Save My Mommy from That Monster,’ Kid Begs Him — Story of the Day

Neil, a 35-year-old airport janitor, was once a devoted husband and father of triplets. His life shattered when his wife, Daffney, abandoned him and their children for a modeling career, declaring, “I was never meant to have babies or do housework.”

Years later, while working at the airport, Neil noticed a boy named Kyle alone and hungry. Neil gave Kyle his only sandwich and learned of Kyle’s distressing situation. Kyle tearfully asked, “Save my mommy from that monster. She’s hurt!”

Neil called 911, leading to Kyle’s mother, Stella, being rescued from an abusive situation. Grateful, Stella and Kyle eventually left their troubled past behind.

Six months later, Neil met Stella and Kyle again, leading to a heartfelt connection. Neil shared, “Some dreams collapse because better things await you.” Neil and Stella’s accidental meeting blossomed into love, proving that unexpected encounters can lead to beautiful new beginnings.
