My husband, Bill, let her, and when we found out the baby was a girl, Jessica’s cruel words about needing a boy stung. She even knew about the ultrasound appointment before I did because Bill told her.Labor was a nightmare. I nearly died, losing a lot of blood, and when I woke up, I found Jessica holding my baby, Eliza. She refused to let me breastfeed her, pushing for formula instead.
