Charlie and his girlfriend, Nora, celebrated their third anniversary at an upscale restaurant. The evening took a strange turn when the waiter accidentally served a glass with a ring inside it, meant for another table. Nora’s dramatic refusal left Charlie puzzled and unveiled her true feelings.
Nora had always had high expectations for the venues Charlie chose, ensuring they were prestigious and the patrons well-dressed. This time was no different. She scanned the restaurant before choosing the most expensive dishes on the menu.

The waiter brought their order, and soon after, served champagne with a ring at the bottom of Nora’s glass.
“Oh no, Charlie! Don’t do this to me!” she exclaimed, pulling the ring out. “You know I’m not ready for this!”
Confused, Charlie called the waiter, who apologized, explaining that the ring was meant for another couple.
Later, Charlie’s brother Simon advised him not to marry Nora. Suspicious, Charlie followed Simon to a hotel, where he overheard him and Nora mocking him. Heartbroken, Charlie confronted them with photos, leading to their expulsion from the family. Despite the betrayal, Charlie felt relieved knowing the truth and began to move on.
