‘Real Housewives’ Executive Dies During Childbirth of Newborn Son in Heartbreaking Tragedy

The Bravo community is grieving the sudden loss of Lauren Miller, a beloved executive behind The Real Housewives of New York City and Salt Lake City. Miller tragically passed away on June 9, just moments after giving birth to her and husband Kevin Miller’s son, Jackson.

Shed Media, a company who produces tv shows for Bravo, posted an Instagram tribute about Lauren.

“It is with devastated hearts that we share that our beloved colleague, Lauren, died unexpectedly just moments after giving birth to her baby boy. Lauren leaves behind her husband, Kevin, 3-year-old daughter, Emma, and newborn son, Jackson. Please consider donating to help Kevin take on this unexpected role as sole provider of the family. Of all the things Lauren loved most, being a mother was at the top and ensuring that her children are being taken care of would mean everything to her. Link in our comments and our stories.

Three days after Lauren’s passing, her colleague Sherri Pender provided an update on behalf of Kevin in a gofundme. She shared that baby Jackson had been released from the NICU and was now home with his father and sister. She noted that Jackson was doing remarkably well—eating, sleeping soundly, and already showing signs of being alert and attentive at just four days old.

She wrote about Lauren as a deeply loving, kind, and compassionate person who lit up every room with her warmth and sincerity. She especially cherished her family—her husband Kevin, daughter Emma, and newborn son Jackson—finding joy in every milestone they shared together. Her sudden passing has left a huge void, and while we can’t ease the pain, we can support what she loved most: her family. This GoFundMe aims to provide financial help for Kevin and the children as they navigate life without her. Any donation, big or small, will make a meaningful difference.
