Chris, an 18-year-old warehouse worker, noticed a well-groomed Shiba Inu named Ollie sitting outside a closed bike shop each day. Locals said the dog belonged to the shop owner, who hadn’t been seen in weeks. Chris, an animal lover, started feeding Ollie during lunch breaks, but the dog would take the food and vanish—never eating it.
One day, Chris followed Ollie and discovered the dog was delivering food to another—an emaciated German Shepherd trapped inside an abandoned house. Ollie had been feeding his friend, Max, every day, keeping him alive. Chris called the police, who rescued Max and later discovered the body of the bike shop owner—Ollie and Max’s owner—who had died of a likely heart attack.
Touched by the dogs’ loyalty and heartbreak, Chris adopted both dogs. Despite his girlfriend Mila’s initial resistance, she was moved by Ollie’s gentle nature and the story of his devotion. Eventually, she welcomed both Ollie and Max into their home, and together, they gave the loyal friends the second chance they deserved.
