-Couple Moves into an Old House, Soon Realizes …

A couple moves into an old house to save money, initially finding it manageable. Soon, they hear footsteps and notice food missing from the fridge, suspecting they aren’t alone. Margo and Robert, struggling financially, moved into Margo’s grandmother’s spooky, rundown house.

Though Robert, a foreman, planned to renovate it gradually, both were uneasy. Despite the house being unexpectedly well-maintained, Margo sensed something off. Strange noises and missing food added to their worry. One night, Margo discovered two children living in the basement. Mark and Olive, abandoned by their parents, had been taken in by Margo’s late grandmother.

Despite their initial reluctance, Margo and Robert decided to care for the children. With Margo’s art finally selling, they provided a safe home for Mark and Olive, turning a challenging situation into a new family.
