‘She Will Live with Us!’ Husband Brings Pregnant Girl Home to His Wife — Story of the Day

Lucas brought a scared pregnant girl home to his wife, Jillian, who was in shock until he revealed something from 20 years ago that he couldn’t forget.

“This is Holly. She will live with us,” Lucas told Jillian, escorting a young pregnant woman into their house. They were wet and shivering from the heavy rain. He sat Holly down in front of the fireplace to warm up.

“Who is she? What’s going on?” Jillian asked, confused and concerned for their toddler, Lilly. After years of trying, they finally had their girl.

Lucas had never mentioned Holly before. Jillian demanded answers.

Lucas sighed. “It’s complicated,” he said.

Twenty years ago, Lucas had a motorcycle accident and woke up in a hospital, saved by his old friend, Jerry. During recovery, Jerry and Lucas’s fiancée, Sandra, fell in love, leaving Lucas heartbroken.

Now, Jerry and Sandra’s daughter, Holly, needed help. She explained her parents died in a crash, and she had no one else. Lucas, remembering Jerry’s kindness, decided to help Holly, fulfilling an old promise.
