After Mother’s Death, Children Find Old Rusty Door behind Her Wardrobe — Story of the Day

Fiona Wright’s children gathered at her home to celebrate her 75th birthday, but she suddenly disappeared. After searching the house, they were baffled when she reappeared from her room. That night, Fiona tragically passed away, and her children later discovered why she vanished.

As they were about to sing “Happy Birthday,” Fiona’s daughter Viola went to find her, but she wasn’t in her room. Confused, the family searched everywhere. Suddenly, Fiona reappeared, bewildered by their concern. After singing and celebrating, Fiona mentioned waiting for their late father, Robert, who had passed away years ago. Shortly after, she collapsed and died.

The following week, as they sorted through Fiona’s belongings, the siblings found a hidden door behind her antique wardrobe. This door led to a basement with a life-size marble sculpture of their father. They realized Fiona had been visiting this secret room, reflecting on her deep love and longing for her late husband. They later sold the sculpture to an art gallery.
