Mom spots adorable Easter dress at Target, but then she notices one detail that has the internet divided

A Michigan mom shopping at Target spotted what she thought was a modest Easter dress for young girls. However, upon closer inspection, she noticed waist cutouts, sparking debate after she shared her reaction on TikTok.

Meghan Mayer, a conservative mother and seventh-grade teacher, questioned the appropriateness of the dresses for her daughters, ages 7 and 10. TikTok users were divided, with some agreeing the cutouts were inappropriate, while others found the dress cute.

Critics blamed retailers for hastening kids’ maturity, while supporters reminisced about wearing similar styles without issue. Despite the debate, some defended the dress, finding it cute and suitable for young girls.
