I Accidentally Learned That My Husband Leaves the House Every Night – One Night, I Decided to Follow Him

When Portia wakes up to find her husband Hunter missing in the middle of the night, she’s consumed by suspicion. The next night, she follows him, uncovering a secret that threatens to unravel their fragile bond. Can their love survive the truth she discovers?

Growing up in a chaotic home, Portia clings tightly to Hunter, who is kind, attentive, and stable. However, Hunter needs space. “Portia, you need to give me some space!” he’d shout during their frequent arguments.

One night, Portia wakes up to find Hunter missing. The next morning, he lies, saying he never left. Determined to uncover the truth, Portia follows him the next night to a bar where he’s with friends. “What are you doing here?” Hunter asks, surprised. “You smother me,” he says, expressing his frustration.

In a heated argument, Hunter accuses Portia of not letting him breathe. “You treat me like a child,” he says. Portia realizes her fears of abandonment are causing harm.

The next morning, they talk. Hunter expresses his need for space, and Portia agrees to change. She offers to give him a night with his friends without her hovering.

Hunter enjoys the night with his friends, feeling a sense of normalcy. The next day, he thanks Portia. They hug, hopeful for the future. “We’ll make it work. Together,” Hunter says.
